As she struggles to remember his name
I see fear and anguish,
“I wish I know what I am saying”, she said to me, “I wish I understand”
“Can you tell him?”...
Tell him what? I thought ...
She has only incomplete sentences though complete thoughts, I implore my heart to think and speak for her, to ease the pain I thought.
How can I carry her burden? How might I share her pain? How can I relate her messages? And how can I let her understand that he is safe and that she is alright?
She lies there in fear and sadness
And all that I can feel is emptiness…emptiness from not being able to mend her MIND.
